Family Safety Awareness 6hrs ($75.00)

 

This class is for families who want to learn about gun safety together.  It will teach the basics of gun safety and teach children what to do if they find an unsupervised gun.  This program emphasizes "Stop, Don’t Touch, Walk Away, and Tell an Adult". Early learning helps to remove the stigma of firearms and gives children an acceptable solution if a firearm is found.  This will also cover how to safely store firearms in the home.  Time is spent shooting on the range. This portion will start with Safety, Proper Stance and Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture and Trigger Control. No prior firearm experience is necessary. 

 

Child Safety Awareness 2hrs (30.00)

 

This class is created specifically for children and youth.  It will teach the basics of gun safety and teach children what to do if they find an unsupervised gun.  This program emphasizes "Stop, Don’t Touch, Walk Away, and Tell An Adult". Early learning helps to remove the stigma of firearms and gives children an acceptable solution if a firearm is found.  A parent is required to attend but not to participate.
